Ingredients for Masa
- 3 cups rice
- 3 teaspoon yeast
- 1½ teaspoon baking powder
- salt
Ingredients For Groundnut Soup
- 1 cup grinded groundnut
- pepper
- tomatoes
- onion
- palm oil
- bones with little meat around it
- spinach(green)leave
- yakwa leave
- seasoning
Method of Making Masa
- soak rice 3-4 hours
- wash and grind, add yeast and baking powder leave for 2 hours to rise
- place masa pot on the fire and little oil in each hole then pour mixture allow for a min, check to see if I can be turned, the turn to the other side allow for another 2 mins.
- add drops into each hole while frying if need be.
Method of Cooking groundnut soup
- wash pepper ,tomatoes,onion grinded and set aside
- wash leaves, cut and set aside
- place pot on the fire, add bones,
- slice onion into it, season, add pepper & tomatoes ,water and boil for 30mins,
- then add palm oil and allow to cook for another 10 mins, add grinded groundnut and allow to cook for about 10 minutes, stir else it would get burnt.
- add yakwa and spinach leave, after two minutes its ready.
