Making Of Ginger Tea Bread

 Flour 500g Baking powder 1 teaspoon
 Soft Margarine 80g
 Brown sugar 100g Grated ginger 4 teaspoon
Skimmed milk 10 tablespoon

- Grease and line a loft tin -
Sieve the flour,baking powder and dry ginger into a mixing bowl
- Rub in the margarine until the mixture resembles bread crumbs
- Stir in the sugar and milk - Put into the prepared tin and bake for about 40 - 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean
- Run a palette knife around the edges to loosen,then turn the ginger bread onto a wire rack and leave to cool
