RECIPE
- Rice
- Onions
- Butter 250g
- Carrot(optional)
- Stock
- Maggi Cubes
- Chicken
- Pepper
METHOD
- - Wash the rice and parboil a little
- - Place 25g of butter in a small sauce pan.Allow to melt and hot
- - Add the onions,pepper and carrot.
- - Cook gently without coloring for 2-3 minutes then add the rice
- - Add twice the amount of stock needed to the rice.
- - Season it adequately ,cover with a buttered brown pepper
- - Place in a hot oven 230 - 250 (approximately) for 15 minutes till cooked.
- - Remove immediately into a cooking sauce pan.
- - Carefully spread the remaining butter over the cooked rice,correct the seasoning
- - Serve in an earthen dish or silver dish.
